Project Summary

The Mediolanum Forum is the most prominent Italian indoor arena; Built in 1990, it has a capacity of 12,700 seats and is the seat of the largest international events, of both sporting and artistic-cultural nature.

The sports facility, located within the large Milanofiori complex, has a covered area of over 40,000 square meters with a volume of 450,000 cubic meters. The layout of the areas, organized on four superimposed levels below the stands in the central arena, is distributed in sections of different capacity and function.

Following numerous improvements and changes to increase its capacity and implement the most recent regulations, a further renovation of the spaces began in 2016, including the refurbishment of the lighting system.

The Fogliani Group, which has been operating in the supply and electric lighting sector for years, has led the implementation of the project with the installation of about 300 Cree Lighting LED luminaires, installed at a distance of about 20 meters each from the more: 144 Edge ™ High Output luminaires (color temperature 5000K with 90 CRI, dimmable) and 148 304 Series luminaires with asymmetrical optics today illuminate both the playing field and the stands of the Mediolanum Forum in the best possible way.
